The entire length of the LM Shaft is divided into 3 meters, 4 meters, and 6 meters, which can be cut according to customer requirements or processed according to customer drawings.
The LM Shaft is mainly used to support and guide moving parts, achieving precise linear motion. When in use, it is usually used in conjunction with linear bearings or Linear blocks to support and guide moving parts along specific linear trajectories
The main raw material for the chrome plated LM Shaft produced by our factory is 45 # steel. The surface treatment adopts electroplating, and the hard chromium on the surface enhances the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the circular solid linear guides, extending the service life of the circular solid linear guides. The circular solid linear guides design is simple, inexpensive, easy to replace, and widely used in industrial robots and the moving parts of automatic sliding system devices.
LM Shaft are divided into soft shaft and hard shaft due to their different hardness
The raw material of the soft shaft has not undergone high-frequency heat treatment, and the material is soft. Soft shafts can absorb certain vibrations and impacts, making them suitable for scenarios that require shock absorption, such as precision equipment, shock-absorbing machinery, etc.
After high-frequency heat treatment, the surface hardness of the hard shaft can reach 58-63 degrees. Hard shafts are widely used in linear bearings for large and medium-sized machines as well as heavy-duty machines, and are suitable for some scenarios that require high rigidity, such as machine tools, cranes, etc.
