Pillow block ball bearing is a variant of deep groove ball bearing, characterized by a spherical outer diameter surface on the outer ring, which can be fitted into the corresponding concave spherical surface of the bearing seat for centering.
This type of bearing is mainly used to withstand combined radial and axial loads, mainly radial loads, and is generally not suitable for bearing axial loads alone.
